Golf Course Ownership and Management Company Awarded Middlesex County Contract
 
Monroe Township, NJ-–RDC Golf Group, Inc. (RDC), a leading golf course ownership and management company headquartered in Monroe Township, New Jersey, announces that it has been awarded an operational advisory services contract for the Middlesex County (NJ) Improvement Authority’s (MCIA) three golf facilities:  Tamarack Golf Course in East Brunswick; The Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course in Plainsboro; and the Raritan Landing Golf Course in Piscataway.  RDC now owns or manages nine golf courses at seven locations from Florida to New Jersey.
 
Beginning this month, RDC will work with the MCIA to analyze current golf and hospitality operations and the company will offer recommendations for marketing the facilities, rounds generation, systems implementation (tee times, etc), and course maintenance.  Since its opening in 1993 by New Jersey native Christopher Schiavone, RDC has rapidly become a recognized industry leader in golf course ownership and management. In addition to providing operational advisory services, RDC also actively acquires properties and offers management, financial and marketing services to clients.

According to its website, the MCIA was created in 1990 to serve as a catalyst for a wide variety of programs designed to improve the quality of life in its municipalities and throughout the County.  In addition to its three golf facilities, the MCIA operates the County recycling program, manages Roosevelt Care Center, finances major infrastructure improvements and re-develops property.

About The Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course

About Raritan Landing Golf Course

RDC’s Galvin Named To T-Links Board
--Napier Moves To Company Headquarters--
 
Monroe Township, NJ-RDC Golf Group, Inc. (RDC), a leading golf course ownership and management company headquartered in Monroe Township, New Jersey, announces that company principal and Executive Vice President Matthew Galvin has been named to the Board of Directors of T-Links National Tee Time Reservations Network. 
 
Last year more than 5.5 million golf rounds were booked online through T-Links, making it the largest internet-based tee time reservation network in the United States.
 
Galvin joined RDC in 1996, and he directs all business development acquisitions and finance functions for the company.  RDC currently operates, manages and/or provides advisory services to eight golf courses in six locations along the East Coast.
 
Prior to joining RDC, Galvin served in acquisition and project management positions for American Golf and was instrumental in the company’s growth from 47 courses to 111 courses in three years.  Galvin received a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of New Hampshire and a MBA from Pepperdine University.
 
In other company news, John Napier, general manager of the formerly RDC-managed Bergen Hills Country Club, will now serve as vice president of field services for RDC and will be based out of the company’s headquarters.  Napier’s duties will include overseeing various operations-related projects, assisting with business development and coordinating the transition of new golf courses into the RDC portfolio.
 
Napier joined RDC in April of 2004 and managed the operations of Bergen Hills Country Club for the company until the facility’s sale to new ownership late last year.  With Napier at the helm, Bergen Hills embarked on an ambitious program that included restoring the condition of the classic golf course, improving the pace of play, and renovating the clubhouse grill and bar.
